In recent months, Zaphiro Technologies has actively participated in several major industry events across Europe, strengthening its engagement with the global energy community and contributing to discussions on the digitalization of power networks.

From international conferences to leading exhibitions, these events provided valuable opportunities to connect with utilities and experts working to address the growing complexity of modern electricity systems. Through presentations, panel discussions and technical exchanges, the Zaphiro team shared insights on how advanced monitoring technologies and synchronized measurements can enhance grid observability, improve operational awareness and support the ongoing energy transition.

Below are highlights from four recent events.

ZenonIZE: Advancing Digital Transformation in Energy Infrastructure

Zaphiro took part in zenonIZE, the international conference organized by COPA-DATA that focuses on digitalization and automation across industrial and energy infrastructures.

During the event, Alice Maffezzoli, Sales & Business Development Manager at Zaphiro, contributed to both a keynote session and a panel discussion dedicated to the role of digital technologies in enabling the energy transition. The discussions brought together industry leaders to explore how advanced software platforms, real-time data and automation are supporting the modernization of energy systems.

In our contributions, we highlighted how high-resolution synchronized measurements can significantly improve grid visibility, enabling utilities to better understand network dynamics and respond more effectively to operational challenges.

Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo – Cologne

Zaphiro also exhibited at the Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo in Cologne, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to technologies for power transmission and distribution.

At the exhibition, the Zaphiro team showcased its SynchroGuard platform and demonstrated how synchrophasor-based monitoring solutions can provide deeper visibility into grid dynamics, enabling faster disturbance detection and more informed operational decision-making.

As part of the event’s program, Giacomo Mantero, Sales Manager at Zaphiro, delivered a pitch presenting the company’s vision for advanced grid monitoring and the role of synchronized measurements in improving the resilience and reliability of modern electricity networks.

The event offered valuable opportunities to meet with utilities, industry partners and technology experts interested in innovative approaches to managing increasingly complex power systems.

Enlit Europe: Connecting with the Global Energy Ecosystem

Zaphiro was also present at Enlit Europe in Bilbao, one of the most influential gatherings for the international energy sector.

The event brings together utilities, policymakers, innovators and technology providers to discuss the future of energy systems and the solutions required to accelerate the transition toward more sustainable and flexible electricity networks.

For Zaphiro, Enlit provided an opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and present its approach to advanced grid monitoring, emphasizing the role of synchronized measurement technologies in supporting the digital transformation of power systems.

Smart Grid Technical Forum – Frankfurt

Zaphiro also participated in the Smart Grid Technical Forum held in Frankfurt, a technical event that gathers network operators, technology providers and industry experts to address the evolving challenges of smart grids.

Representing Zaphiro, Alice Maffezzoli was the moderator of a panel as well as keynote speaker on discussions focused on the digitalization of distribution networks and the need for greater grid observability in increasingly decentralized electricity systems.

Through its participation in these international events, Zaphiro continues to strengthen its collaboration with the global energy community and contribute to the development of smarter, more resilient electricity networks.

By promoting advanced monitoring technologies and data-driven insights, we remain committed to supporting utilities and network operators as they navigate the challenges of the energy transition and the digitalization of power infrastructure.
